FFA CUP Round of 16 Wednesday, 29 October 2014Melbourne interest lies with two clubs, being Melbourne Victory who once again find themselves playing away, this time against fellow A-League outfit the Perth Glory. Victory will go into the game full of confidence after their recent win over cross town rivals Melbourne City, coupled with the fact they are still lose this season in either the pre season, FFA Cup or League.

The home game sees the last two non A-league sides Bentleigh Greens hosting Adelaide City. This should see a close game as both sides finished their seasons in similar ladder positions of their respective leagues.Both teams are now playing well beyond the end of their seasons, so trying to keep players match fit and injury free has been the main challenge.Bentleigh had a competitive game and a 2-0 win over Melbourne City Youth last Tuesday, who John Anastasiadis says play in a similar style to that of Adelaide CityAdelaide’s Damien Mori, unlike Bentleigh has given his charges some time off training to recharge and refresh.Adelaide City have already taken a big scalp in A-League side Western Sydney Wanderers, who themselves play this Sunday in the final of the Asian Champions League.
